DECIPHER brought together its academic, clinical, and industrial partners for its Scientific Day—a milestone event dedicated to pioneering therapeutic approaches in oncology, with major breakthroughs highlighted in hemato-oncology and other cancers (e.g. TNBC).
The day provided a unique platform to showcase the strength of DECIPHER’s collaborative ecosystem, bridging fundamental scientific research, clinical development, and biotech innovation.
Key scientific and clinical highlights
The event featured compelling presentations from key leaders across the continuum of cancer research:
- Academic Excellence: Salvatore Spicuglia and Mileidys Perez Alea shared major research milestones, highlighting promising therapeutic targets and progress in both hemato-oncology and hard-to-treat solid tumors, particularly triple-negative breast cancer.
- Clinical and biotech synergy: Prof. Régis Costello presented the Odyssey clinical trial, conducted in close collaboration with biotech partner Advanced BioDesign, represented by its CEO, Ismail Ceylan. This partnership illustrates the power of converting laboratory insights into concrete clinical advances for patients.
